Allied Rongda successful completed Shagang 5800m³ giant blast furnace lining shotcrete project

In May 25, 2017, Allied Rong successful completed the domestic largest and the world's second giant blast furnace project Shagang 5800BF lining shotcrete project. Rongda responsible for the maintenance of BF engineering involves the whole lining shotcrete and cooling wall filling pressure.The main installation site for the lining and the parts above tuyere of blast furnace lining, the shotcrete amount of lining materials of insatallation was 425 tons, provide cooling wall grouting material 160 tons, with a total of 32 hours of shotcrete, shotcrete note the peak value was 23 tons / hour.

As the maintenance project involves a number of service providers cross operation, the installation  period is tight and the requirement is high, and Allied Rongda has made careful arrangements for the project. On the basis of summarizing the experience of the past, do a lot of technology improvement and simulation test, the Shagang 5800 BF hearth diameter was more than 16 meters, the maximum diameter was 17.8 meters, the maximum diameter was nearly 6 meters, to ensure a constant spray distance and furnace wall, combined with wing for the project design and manufacture of special and self adaptive the balance of the large expansion gun and supporting manipulator, ensure the shotcrete quality.

The shotcret robot rotates smoothly and the shotcrete is stable. The shotcrete of uniform thickening, bosh, belly position scale coverage reaches a predetermined thickness of shotcrete. Shotcrete installation rebound was less, total less than 20 tons, less than 5%. After the shotcrete installation, and 48h drying and cooling, the new lining strength achieves the ideal effect.
