The No. 2 #450m³ blast furnace of Yunnan Desheng iron and Steel Co., Ltd. has been running for more than 4 years since the last medium repair. After stopping the furnace, it has been found that the cooling stave with brick have been basically eroded and the hearth erosion is serious. So it is planned to use the shotcrete lining, the tuyere zone and the hearth sidewall integral casting technology of Allied Rongda to repair.
Our company began to enter the furnace supporting mold and casting installation at 8pm on April 20th. The installation material is planned to be over 350 tons. Due to the short time and heavy tasks, the engineering and technical personnel of our company carefully planned and arranged in advance and made full preparations. At 3 p.m. on April 28, complete overhaul project installation, installation lasted more than 180 hours. Our company completed the overall repair installation in 8 days, more than 2 days ahead of the original 10 days time limit, ensure plenty time of the main line, provided time support for the other maintenance projects of 2 # blast furnace of Desheng steel.
