May 17-18, 2018, sponsored by the Chinese Society for Metals Steelmaking Branch, supported by Beijing Allied Rongda Engineering Materials co., LTD. "2018 (20th) the Steelmaking Academic Conference" was held in Chengdu, Sichuan province. At this meeting, the Chinese Society for Metals Steelmaking Branch summed up the theoretical research results of the problems encountered in the new situation of the process of iron water pretreatment, steelmaking, steel refining and continuous casting, summarized the experience of the actual production process. The topic is "facing new situation, realizing green continuous casting process of steel, intelligence and product brand".
Mr.Dong Zhanchun, a researcher at the technical center of Allied Rongda, made an academic report entitled "The Latest Technology Progress of The Converter Lining Repair" at the conference. It aims at the new products and new technologies, such as the self flowing material of the environmentally friendly and "water base" of the converter and the technology of the converter remote shotcrete, which have been developed independently around the steelmaking and continuous casting system in recent years. The topic was introduced and was well received by the delegates.
